ReelDry cloths are made from polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) — a material engineered specifically for lint-sensitive surfaces. Unlike standard microfiber, PVA doesn't shed fibers or generate static charge, both of which attract particulate to wet emulsions during drying.
The result is straightforward: wipe your negatives after the final rinse, hang them, and they'll be clean and scanner-ready in around an hour. Works with 35mm, 120, and sheet film.
PVA absorbs surface moisture quickly without dragging across the emulsion. There's no abrasion — the material glides rather than grips when wet. We've used these cloths in our own darkroom for over two years across Kodak, Ilford, and Fuji films with excellent results.
5 reusable PVA cloths per pack. Fully washable — rinse with clean water after each use and they're ready to go again. At roughly $4.40 per cloth, a single pack will last most photographers many years of regular developing.
